The Masked Saint Movie Review

The Masked Saint (Motion Picture)

*SPOILERS

Pastor Chis Samuels holds three hats Wrestler, Father, and Pastor in this Christian Faith Family Friendly Movie that really touches the heart. Pastor Chris Samuels is played by actor Brett Granstaff. The Masked Saint’s main undertone storyline is good facing off against evil, and doing what is right no matter what the cost. The Masked Saint is based off the book written by wrestler turned Pastor Chris Whaley. Chris Whaley was wrestler out of Florida that wrestled under the ring name The Saint. Chris Samuels wrestling name inside The Masked Saint is The Gladiator. The Chris Samuels character is based off the author of The Masked Saint’s life to a certain extent, and The Masked Saint novel was turned into this movie in 2016. The Masked Saint is available to watch on Amazon Prime for free if you are a Prime member and it is available for free without subscription on the free streaming service Tubi.

As I mentioned previously, this movie’s undertone is good face off against evil and doing what is right no matter what the cost! It is a very inspirational Christian Faith movie with a Christian superhero like character everyone can get behind in The Masked Saint. The Masked Saint stands for everything pure as he fights off all the evil nemesis inside his section of town as he did the right thing in his eyes because the Lord knows anybody who fights for what he knows is right.

Pastor Samuels really is dealing with a battle within himself as most of us do about different things. Pastor Samuels deals with being a Christian person and bringing punishment to those who do wrong. Some of the big bad in Pastor Samuels life is the crooked wrestling promoter played by the late Rowdy Roddy Piper who performs an incident at the beginning of the movie to strip The Masked Saint fan favorite of his championship belt before The Masked Saint goes into full-time Pastor Samuels mode at the new church, he was already set up to begin to lead.

The Masked Saint movie is about struggle, redemption, and is a great wholehearted Christian movie about facing challenges and overcoming adversity at every turn of life. The Masked Saint teaches the viewer to have faith within their life, and to hold on no matter what the person might be facing inside their lives.

You don’t have to be a wrestling fan or necessarily a Christian to enjoy this movie. Anybody can enjoy The Masked Saint. If the person enjoys family friendly type movies that have an overall lesson to the movie in the end, they will enjoy The Masked Saint. I suggest everyone out there at least turn on Tubi and give this movie a try because if you just turn this movie on and give it try, I guarantee you most people will watch it from beginning to end and enjoy it. Especially, those you that are wrestling fans, superhero fans, and of course those who enjoy Christian Family Friendly movies.
